Newborn Baby Photographs
The birth of a new baby is a joyous occasion in any home and before you know it your little bundle fo joy won't be so little anymore.
So why not celebrate with a beautiful newborn photoshoot to document the first few weeks of babys life. Colin has a beautiful comfortable and warm studio in which to carry out your newborn shoot, or alternatively can visit you in your own home.
We can also provide a variety of Teddy Bears, wraps etc to add that little extra. In the studio we also keep a small selection of newborn nappies/wipes etc (just in case !!!)
Whats the best age?
Well babies are lovely at any age , but the best time for a 'newborn' is really within the first 3 weeks (and the sooner the better). If you are lucky babies of this age tend to get fed and then heopfully sleep
a lot. They also tend to sleep quite soundly so this can be a great time for pictures.
When Should I book?
The best time to book a newborn shoot is really even before the birth. Now obviously I know that your baby is unlikely to decide to come along to suit the photography appointment!
But by pre-booking I will 'pencil in' a shoot and then we can adjust dates as necessary.
How long will it take?
Well thats a difficult one because we all know that children dont always play to the adult tune!! It can take up to 2 hours, and if absolutely necessary we can even arrange another shoot if your little one is just not happy.
When will I get the Pics?
It does depend a little on the time of year as some times are busier than others but generally you will be invited back to the studio for a viewing a couple of weeks after your shoot.
We can offer a range of canvas, acrylics and Framed prints and other products.
